Momento's proprietary algorithm calculates memory recall scores from photographs by leveraging advanced image analysis techniques, cognitive science principles, and machine learning models. It extracts features from photos, analyzes emotional content, and considers user interaction history and contextual relevance, such as significant events and social interactions. By combining these elements, the algorithm predicts the likelihood of a photo being remembered, continuously learning and improving its accuracy based on user behavior and feedback.
When creating an automated quiz, an algorithm is used to read user data from the gallery and send metadata about the images in the gallery for processing. In this case, all image are stored on user’s device, processing is performed only with data about the location, date and image labels. The user will receive a notification after the completion of processing and creation of the quiz.
You can search users by their email or by importing your contacts and sending connection requests to them. It is possible to create circles and invite your connections in circles. This way, you will be able to assign quizzes to target groups.

This is used to create groups of photos. There are several types of ai-based grouping in the app: categories, places, moments and people. When grouping by category, priority is given to the content of the image. When grouping by places and moments, location and date are prioritized respectively. If you choose to group photos by people, photos will be grouped by taking into account the person in each photo. Grouping can also be used for making quiz creation process faster and to give you some insights into your gallery. All data is kept private and stored only locally on your phone.
When any user assigns a quiz to you or takes a quiz that you have created, you will be presented with an entry on activity tab.
